Culinary Services Manager
Location: CountryHouse Residence | Elkhorn, NE
Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and leadership? Join CountryHouse as a Culinary Services Manager, where you'll bring joy and nourishment to our residents through delicious, attractive, well-balanced meals in a welcoming environment.
Get away from the constant late night and weekend hours from restaurant or catering life!
What You'll Do:
Plan creative, seasonal menus and prepare meals that are both nutritious and appetizing.
Collaborate with our Registered Dietitian to accommodate special diets and promote healthy choices.
Lead and supervise dining staff – hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring a high-performing team.
Partner with activity coordinators to support culinary events and special occasions.
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety per state and federal guidelines.
Manage food inventory, purchasing, and budgeting.
Meet with residents to understand preferences and ensure satisfaction through surveys and feedback.
Help implement revenue-generating dining opportunities within the community.
What We're Looking For:
Associate’s degree in Nutrition/Dietary Services or equivalent preferred.
Food Handlers/ServSafe Manager Certification (required).
Experience cooking for large groups in a commercial kitchen.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A team leader with integrity, professionalism, and a passion for service.
